Last updated August 2026

This policy explains what Plateau Sprinklers collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. It is written for a small local service business in Washington State, not copied from a template for a software company.

Who we are

[Legal business name, e.g. Plateau Sprinklers LLC], operating as Plateau Sprinklers, owned by Jeff Hallenbeck. We provide irrigation, maintenance, and seasonal yard services in Enumclaw and the Plateau. You can reach us at info@plateausprinklers.com or (253) 880-2237.

What we collect

Only what you type into the quote form:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address
  • The property address or ZIP code where the work would happen
  • The service you selected, your timeline, property type, and preferred contact time
  • Anything you write in the job description field

The form also records which page you submitted from and the time you submitted, so we can tell how quickly we responded.

We do not collect payment information on this website. We do not ask for a Social Security number, a driver license number, or any financial account information, and you should not send those to us through this form.

Why we collect it

To quote your job, contact you about it, and schedule the work. That is the entire purpose. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not run behavioral tracking.

How we contact you

When you submit the quote form you are asking us to get back to you, so we may call, text, or email you about your request using the contact details you gave us. Standard message and data rates apply to any text messages. If you would rather we use one method only, say so in the description field or tell us on the first call and we will note it.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages to people who only requested a quote. If we ever start a seasonal reminder list, joining it will be something you opt into, and every message will include a way to stop.

Who else sees it

A short list, and none of them are advertisers:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives your form submission first
  • Google Workspace delivers the email notification to our inbox
  • Google Sheets holds a private list of requests so nothing gets lost

Each of these processes the information on our behalf. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. If we ever hire a subcontractor to help with your specific job, we would share only what that person needs to do the work.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept while we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterward, since seasonal customers often come back the following year and it helps to have the history of your system. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except for anything we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons.

Your choices

Email info@plateausprinklers.com and we will:

  • Tell you what we have about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Stop contacting you

You do not need to give a reason and we will not make it difficult.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not use third-party analytics. If that changes we will update this page first and say plainly what is being measured.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep the number of places your information lives small on purpose.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Health data

We do not collect health information of any kind, so nothing here falls under Washington's My Health My Data Act. Please do not include medical details in the job description field.

Washington residents

Washington does not currently have a general consumer data privacy statute that applies to a business of this size, but the rights listed above are available to you regardless. If you believe we have handled your information unfairly, the Washington State Attorney General's Office accepts consumer complaints under the Consumer Protection Act, chapter 19.86 RCW.
